What is .GFS file?
Split file created by Glary Utilities, a Mac utility that enables you to clean and organize your computer; contains a file that has been split up in order to create smaller files for transfer purposes; each file is a smaller part of a whole; can only be opened by joining it together with its other parts through the Glary Utilities program.
When splitting a file, the GFS extension is appended on to the end of the file. If your file is example.txt, the new filename would example.txt.gfs once it's split.
To split a file, click the "Advanced Tools" tab from the Glary Utilities start screen, click "Split files" under "File management," click Browse..., navigate to your file, click Open, click Browse... on the next line, choose the save location of the file, click OK, choose the maximum size for each GFS file you will create, and click Split Now!.
To join a file, click the "Advanced Tools" tab from the Glary Utilities start screen, click "Split files" under "File management," select the "Join file" tab, click Browse..., navigate to your file, click Open, click Browse.. in the next line below, choose the location to restore the file, click OK, and click Join Now!.
