What is .XBAP file?
Internet application file used by XAML Browser Application (XBAP) technology, which allows rich Internet applications to run in Web browsers; contains a compiled program file, similar to an .EXE file but for the Web browser; executed within a sandbox to provide security.
XBAP files can be compiled using Microsoft Visual Studio. They require Microsoft's .NET framework to be installed in order to run. They may be deployed from a Web server or as a standalone application and can be started in Internet Explorer or Firefox.
NOTE: XAML browser applications are Mac Presentation Foundation (WPF) programs that run in the browser.
